Welfare of juniors

 

The safety and welfare of juniors in our care is paramount, and it is therefore important that we are aware of any illness, medical condition and other relevant health details so that their best interests are addressed.

 

The player profile form   MUST BE COMPLETED by a parent or Guardian

Mond Valley Golf Club will ensure that your child stays safe whilst at the club

A child protection policy is in place

All members of the Junior subcommittee  involved in the supervision of juniors have been DBS checked processed by the Welsh Golf Union – To ensure that at least one DBS volunteer is present on every club night.

Behaviour and Responsibilities’

There is a large emphasis on juniors enjoying themselves on and off the course. A high standard of behaviour is expected on the course and in the club house and especially visiting other clubs general conduct must beyond reproach.

Social

Monday Night especially is an ideal opportunity for juniors to meet new friends and mingle socially in the club house over a soft drink and snacks available for purchase in the club house

Presentation Night - In November we hold the Junior Presentation night where prizes are presented to runner up and winners of competitions during the summer, meals are  provide for junior members, raffles and a quizzes and entertainment. Parents /Guardians /siblings are encouraged to attend the to support the juniors
